What is the standard turn around time?
We can have bags produced in as little as 10 business days! Domestic jobs are normally produced within 4 weeks of all approvals, overseas jobs are 90 days. For certain jobs, if you are able to wait the 90 days, your quote will be much more cost effective. What does it cost to custom print bags?
The cost for customizing your bags depends upon the quantity needed, artwork, and bag type. Some bags can be post printed, meaning the bag is already produced and we can print or hot stamp it with your artwork. Other jobs must have the artwork printed on the bag material prior to the bag being produced. In order for us to determine what type of printing process your project will need and what it will cost, we need to have specific details of the project. How can artwork be submitted?

What types of art files do you accept?
We only accept artwork in a digital format. For a 1 color print, a PDF (Adobe Portable Document Format) will work very well. High resolution TIFs may also be acceptable. We do not recommend sending us any text as a TIF.
For multiple color artwork, the best formats are Adobe Illustrator files, (.AI), EPS (Encapsulated PostScript). All fonts must be converted to curves, paths or outlines.
Pixilated files such as TIF, BMP, JPG, GIF and PNG are not appropriate for print jobs that require printing in spot colors because they can't separate properly for printing.

Are there templates available?
We can supply you with templates for your customer printed bags. Templates are available upon request. Please contact your Custom Bags representative for more information.
Does Custom Bags Inc offer services for art creation or recreation?
Custom Bags Inc can recreate your artwork for a fee. We also offer artwork and logo creation as well. Please contact your Custom Bags representative for details.
Can I get a sample of my printed bag prior to placing an order?
We will be happy to send you a digital mock up of your project along with a comparable sample bag we have done for another customer. It is neither time nor cost effective for us to print an exact sample without an order. Additional proofing processes are available. Please contact one of our custom bag specialists for additional info and associated fees if applicable.
What does Over and Under Run mean?
Over and Under run is a percentage of the amount of bags that the job could end up over the initial quantity ordered or under the initial quantity ordered. When printing bags many things factor into the efficiency of the job. If the job takes a while to set up and a good amount of material is wasted during set up, the run may come in short. If set up goes very smooth the run may come in with more bags than ordered. The Over / Under run percentage is the Min and Max amount of bags you will be responsible for. Please note you will only be charged for what we make. If you order 10,000 bags and receive 9,000 bags you will pay for 9,000 bags. If you ordered 10,000 bags and receive 11,000 bags you will pay for 11,000 bags. A Custom Bags Representative will give you the specifics if and when you project has an Over / Under run.
